Our practice is led by Dr. Muneer N. Hanna, a board-certified optometrist with over 20 years of experience in the field. Dr. Hanna and his team of skilled professionals use the latest technology and techniques to provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat eye diseases, and fit patients with the right eyewear to meet their unique needs.

Dr. Muneer N. Hanna
Dr. Muneer N. Hanna specializes in comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. He has been providing exceptional eye care to the Jacksonville community for over 16 years.
Dr. Hanna received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Jacksonville University followed by a bachelor’s degree in vision science at Nova Southeastern University. In 1993, he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern School of Optometry.
Dr. Hanna began practicing optometry on the south side of Jacksonville, Florida. In 2005, he opened his independent optometry practice at 1704 Southside Blvd. in Jacksonville.
Dr. Hanna’s dedication to the field of optometry extends beyond his practice. He has served as president and chairman of the board for the Northeast Florida Optometric Society, and he is a proud member of the American Optometric Association and the Northeast Florida Optometric Association.
Dr. Purdy is from Solon, Iowa. She went to undergrad in Southeast Missouri and optometry school at Southern college of optometry in Memphis, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She was a member of BSK honor society and SVOSH to help provide glasses in Mexico, Colombia, and Bolivia. She is now a member of the AOA, FOA, and NEFOS. Her favorite parts of optometry are ocular disease, fitting contact lenses, and removing foreign bodies from eyes.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Purdy likes to spend time with her two dogs, go to the beach, and Jax fray.
